It put me ahead of the curve and I've realized that summer classes have certain perks: (1) the faster pace means all the material is more freshly in your mind when tests come; (2) at my school at least the finals for summer courses have to be one hour long at most on the final day of classes, so you're guaranteed not to have any epic two- to three-hour finals.
